KUMBHA MELA-OF INDIA- AN UNTANGIBLE HERITAGE OF UNESCO-WORLD,S GREAEST HUMAN CONGREGATON AT PRAYAGRAJ ,INDIA.

Kumbh Mela, (fare) of Prayagraj ,India is the greatest bathing fair of the world.UNESCO has categorised it ,as untangible heritage of the globe.Preprations of this fair start many months before. A temporary city is erected ,sprawling in an area of about 35 sq Kms.It becomes a self sufficient city, with its administration office,police station hospital .Its venue is known as tent city, a site of world’s largest congregation of human being at one place. Population of Mela area-It,s more populated than than four countries- Monaco,Sechechelles,Barbados and Maldives. It’s a 55 days long bathing festival having four Shahi Snan(royal bath),when thousands of seers, saints and huge no of peoples take holy dip at the sit of Trivedi (most pious place, where three rivers Ganga Jamuna and Saraswati meet).Main attraction is Peswai when Mandaleshwar saints and their deciples ,Naga Sadhu,s(nude saints) with ash smeared on his. whole body. take dip in the river. They are given first preference by the administration to take dip in the holy river.
