Human body is hard-wired to react against stress, is meant to protect you against threats from the aggressors by Flight-or-fight response. It Increases the level of adrenaline and cortisol for the short period. Stress may be positive type- Eustress ,where person may controll it easily. Another type stress is negetive stress known as distress,where situation becomes chaotic and beyond his controll. TYPES OF STRESS There are three grades of stress 1- Positive stress– brief period of increased heart rate ,BP release of stress hormone Adrenaline and cortisol. 2- Tolerable stress-Temporary stress response ,relieved by supportive persons around 3- Toxic stress – Prolonged perior of stress without any supportive relations advise or friends. Once a perceived threat is over, hormone level return to normal. Adrenaline and cortisol levels drops and thereby its response on the body. Your heart rate and blood pressure return to normal levels, and other systems resume their regular activities. But when the stressors are present continuously or for the longer time and flight-or-fight response it turned on continuously, it wreaks havoc on your body and mind.It overall cuts your life span drastically. HPA AXIS– In the Brain Hypothalmus -triggers the release of CRH -Corticotrophin relaeasing hormone ,which activates the Pituitary gland -which releases the hormone ACTH-Adrenocorticotrophic hormone, which is carried by the blood to the Adrenal Gland-which relaeases stress Hormone Cortisol/Adrenalin

So it is very important to learn the healthy ways to cope with this chronic stress response . Everybody react in different ways, according to his mental constitution ,Known as personality type .
