1-Introduction –                                                                          ALLERGY-HYPERSENSITIVE REACTION OF THE BODY TOWARDS ALLERGENS. Allergy is the disliking and reaction of your body to some substances. It means that a particular substance that is unharmful to many people may be harmful to you or rejected by your system. There is no uniform code for it. Everybody has their own specific and different kind of allergy. Something may be suitable for one person, but the same thing may cause an allergy in another. About 10% of the population of the world is suffering from one or another kind of allergy.

2-Definition of Allergy:                                                                     Allergy is a harmful immune response to normally harmless substances. It is caused by a trigger agent or allergen known as an antigen. A person’s immune system may react to substances that are generally harmless to most people.

3-Allergens:                                                                                          They are substances that can sensitize the body in such a way that a unique, unusual response occurs in hypersensitive people The body may react to it externally, like sneezing, coughing, or rashes on the body. It may be affected internally, causing a hypersensitive reaction of the respiratory system in the form of coughs and asthmatic attacks, and in the gastrointestinal system, such as nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, or colicky pain. Vascular system: anaphylactic shock and collapse.

4: EFFECT OF INHALED ALLERGENS—like pollen and other air-born substances.

These allergens release histamine, which causes swelling of the mucous lining of the nose to produce more mucus and inflammation. It also causes the nose to run and itch, with violent sneezing. The eyes may start watering. One may develop a sore throat as well. Asthmatic attacks may be triggered. 

5: EFFECT OF INGESTED ALLERGENS                                                May be milk eggs or seafood,   wheat gluten, some nuts, etc. Common foods causing allergies are peanuts, seafood, milk, and eggs. Cow’s milk allergy in infants may occur and may cause eczema, colic, and gastric upset. Some people cannot digest lactose (milk sugar). Lactose intolerance causes gastric upsets.                        6: EFFECT OF CONTACT ALLERGY.                                                      Skin problems that can be triggered by allergy include atopic dermatitis (eczema) and urticaria (hives), rosy spots, edema, etc.

7: Seasonal allergy: Every season can be an allergy season for someone, depending on which one they are allergic to. Most people, including myself, are allergic to cold and damp weather. These people get bouts of allergic bronchitis, a sore throat, or running nose.

8: ALLERGY BETWEEN HUSBAND AND WIFE

It may result in sneezing, coughing, or life-threatening anaphylactic shock. Another case in which the wife was allergic to the sweat of her husband. When her husband hugged her and sweated, she started sneezing, coughing, and having body rashes.

9: Summary:                                                                                               Allergy is a widespread, hypersensitive phenomenon triggered by some allergens. There is no uniform code regarding this. Anyone may be allergic to anything that is otherwise unharmful to others. Allergic reactions may be very mild to severe, life-threatening, anaphylactic shock, or death. So please be careful and try to find allergens in your body, avoid them, or take proper precautionary measures.                                                                                                10: Who is known as an allergic person? 

   A person becomes allergic when their body develops antigens against a substance. Upon repeated exposure, the severity of the reaction may increase. Allergies affect people of all ages, races, genders, and socioeconomic statuses.                                                    11: Can allergy be cured?                                                                     Currently, there is no cure for allergies. However, there are OTC and prescription medications that may relieve symptoms. Avoiding allergy triggers or reducing contact with them can help prevent allergic reactions.
